Everton boss Carlo ancelloti charged by fa over misconduct

Ancelloti was given a red card, due to his raging reaction to referee cris kavanagh officiating after the final whistle at goodison park last weekend, soon after their 1-1 draw to manchester united. He was charged by the english football association this monday for the dispaly of gross misconduct to the referee. Ancelotti was furious because he had a stoppage time goal by Lewin ruled out for offside by VAR.


Carlo Ancelotti has been charged with misconduct for a breach of FA Rule E3,” an FA statement read.

“It is alleged that the Everton FC manager’s language and/or behaviour on the field of play at the end of the Premier League fixture against Manchester United FC on Sunday 1 March 2020 amounts to improper conduct. 

“He has untill thursday March 2020 to provide response”


Ancelloti took over as everton head coach december last year replacing Marco Silver.
