COVID-19: Nigerian governement shutdown

The Nigerian government has shutdown as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The weekly federal government executive council meeting has been postponed indefinitely.


The suspension will be “until further notice”, Says secretary to the  Federal government,  Boss Mustapha.


Boss Mustapha also disclosed that the council of state meeting earlier scheduled on Thursday has also been posponed. He also announced the total closure of all the country’s land border, which are all measures meant to tackle the growing incident of COVID-19 pandemic. Mustapha who is also the Nigerias Special Task Force on coronavirus said all the borders will be closed for four week
