Italy and Juventus defender Daniele Rugani has become the first professional footballer that has tested positive to the deadly Cronavirus-COVID-19.
This was announced by the Club after all Sporting activities had been stopped in Italy untill April 3 and Italian Serie A matches are being played behind closed doors.
Juventus in official statement said ‘The footballer Daniele Rugani has tested positive for Coronavirus-COVID-19 and is currently asymptomatic.
‘Juventus Football Club is currently activating all the isolation procedures required by law, including the census of those who have had contact with him.’
Juventus is due to face Lyon next Tuesday in a Champions League match but the match may be postponed for Precautionary measures.
