Mikel Arteta, Dybala, Daniele Rugani, Hudson-Odoi, tested positive for Coronavirus/COVID-19: Benjamin Mendy, Gonzalo Higuain and 3 Leicester City players in Isolation

The Premier League has been hit hard by the deadly Coronavirus/COVID-19 as many players including a coach were reported to have been infected.


Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta was reported to have been infected by the virus and has since been put under quarantine.


Arteta said “This is really disappointing but I took the test after feeling poorly.


“I will be at work as soon as I’m allowed.”


In an official statement,  Arsenal said they have isolated a number of officials and players.


Chelsea ace, Callum Hudson-Odoi was also in Isolation since Monday and his tests result turned positive for the Virus.


The Club said they are going to Isolate a number of players and officials that had contact with the 19 year old player.


3 Leicester City players have been isolated after showing symptoms of Coronavirus/COVID-19, club manager,  Brendan Rodgers confirmed.


He however didn’t revealed the identity of the 3 players but he said they were separated from other players.


Manchester City defender, Benjamin Mendy has also been isolated after his family member been hospitalized for the deadly virus.


Juventus has also reported that Daniele Rugani and Paulo Dybala were all tested positive for Coronavirus/COVID-19 and Gonzalo Higuain is also Isolated for having contact with Dybala.
