NNPC: Abdulkadir Mohammed fined N1 million fo theft

Abdulkadir Mohammed a former sales man of the Nigerian National Petrochemical Corporation NNPC Salihu was arested by the EFCC ON 29 October, 2019. He was in charge of loading manifest at the NNPC depot in Kaduna.
Salihu was arrested for the theft of over N6 billion.
The EFCC arraigned him on Wednesday on a three-count charge of fraud before Justice
Abubakar.
Justice Z. B Abubakar of the Federal High Court, Kaduna, issued Salihu a N1 million fine or he would spend 3 years in jail after a proven theft of over N6 billion from the NNPC.
His assets were also seized in the proccess. Salihu was arrested after several partitions were submitted against him to the zonal branch of EFCC Kaduna.
It was discovered that Salihu conspired with unknown oil marketers to lift petroleum product without payment to the NNPC at depot.
