Sanusi II regained freedom, Left Awe and heads to Lagos

The Deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II has regained his freedom after the court order that grand an order to release him from house arrest.

Sanusi is allowed to move freely in every state in Nigeria except,  Kano.


Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasiru Ahmad El-Rufai visited Sanusi today in Awe, Nasarawa State.


For the first time, since his dethronement,  Sanusi is allowed to move freely and he even attended juma’at Prayer where he was the one that led the prayer.

Before leaving Awe, Sanusi met his mother and she prayed for him.


He then left Awe in Company of Kaduna state governor,  El-Rufai where they headed to Abuja.

Sanusi Met with Former Kano state governor,  Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and they accompanied him to Abuja Airport where he left fly to Lagos
