Supreme Court dismissed Ihedioha’s Appeal to review and set aside its judgement that sacked him

Supreme court has upheld its first judgement on the Governorship Election of Imo State Where in earlier judgement Hope Uzodinma of APC was declared winner, Sacking the PDP’s Emeke Ihedioha.


In its Ruling, Tuesday, 3 March 2020 the court dismissed the request of the Former Governor, Emeka Ihedioha asking the court to review and set aside its first judgement that brought Hope Uzodinma to Power.


Earlier Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman of a seven-member panel, Justice Ibrahim Muhammad after hearing the application filed by Ihedioha adjourned to deliver ruling in the matter.


The courts said it has no power to entertain Ihedioha’s request therefore , Hope Uzodinma remains the governor of Imo state.
