The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu, Ogun, to embark on 3 days warning strike

The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu, Ogun, has notified authorities that its residents are embarking on a three days warning strike on mondays due to non-implementation of their demands by state government.
The reasons for going on the strike was included in a letter written to governor of Ogun jointly signed by the ARD OOUTH President and the General Secretary, Dr Mutiu Popoola and Dr Tope Osundara respectively stated that the association decided to down tools because of “the noncommittal response to several letters written to the government on the matter.”

Some of the complaints include non implementation of new minimum wage, hazard allowance, inappropriate remuneration, entry level and absence of life insurance policy for its members.
