The minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Hajiya Zainab Ahmed, has revealed to state house reporters that the president has given directive to the minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning to ensure the prompt and continuous payment of salaries. As she is the head of the committee to review the impact of COVID-19 on the economy. She also said the president urged them to protect critical infrastructure like roads and rails by using local input for the economy to retain its value.
