Kaduna State Government has arrested 2 Islamic  clerics for conducting congregational prayer which is against the public health prevention measure,  according the state authorities.   The Imams named Malam Aminu Umar Usman and Malam Umar Shangel will be prosecuted according to statement by the state Samuel  Aruwan, commissioner internal Security and home affairs.   The Imams are from Malali and Unguwan Kanawa Communities. The Kaduna State government have taken strict measures to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.   Although no case have been reported from the state but governor,  Nasiru Ahmad El-Rufai said preventive measures are to be taken because outbreak of the virus in the state cannot be handled because even advanced countries are struggling to contain the virus.   The statement released Monday said that markets will be closed with the exception of food and drugs sellers.   And all civil servants from level 12 should stay at home in the next 30 days.   The governor said they will use force to make sure people in the state stay indoors and avoid large  gathering.   The statement reads   KADUNA UPDATE: KDSG imp

Governor El- Rufai has issued a three days notice to shop owners at kasuwar barci Tudun Wada, kaduna South.
